According to the great Vedantist philosopher Śankara, Vijñana is a deep understanding or knowledge that cannot be obtained merely by outer instruction or text reading. Rather it is an inner clarity that is revealed through personal experience.
In this practice, we will build the foundation of the hand balances by connecting down to the ground, reinforce the connection between the base and the top and finally expanding into stronger and more stable hand balances. Always respecting the present limitations and honoring each individual´s process.
Regina is a Mexican yogini that has been practicing yoga since 1999 and teaching since 2009. She holds a degree in Business Administration but it was until several years of living the corporate experience and understanding how the western culture often brings our bodies to tension, depression and disconnection, that decided to fully focus on dismantle toxic movement patterns in herself as well as sharing those insights with other practitioners.She practices and teaches Vijñana Yoga, integrating the 7 principles into a conscious yet challenging practice where the top priority is releasing space so each body can understand, from inside.
